How to Adopt
Angels Assisting Felines is a 501(c)(3) private nonprofit organization that is funded largely by the voluntary contributions of individuals, businesses and foundations, and supported by sponsorships, grants, bequests, investments, and proceeds from adoption.
Adoption fees do not cover all the expenses a cat may incur during their time with us. It costs an average of $15 per cat per day to cover food, shelter, and veterinary care. Some cats do not require as much care as others. But many cats require substantial resources and or lengthy stays before they find a forever home.
Because our purpose is to try and help as many cats as possible, we offer discounted adoption fees for some of our cats. The regular adoption fees help to cover our costs and allow us to not only continue our work, but also place other cats at lower adoption fees and for some special needs cats the fees are waived, reducing their time in foster care.
